The Chef
Greg Malouf has inspired a generation of young chefs and transformed the Australian and international restaurant scene with his love for the flavors of the Middle East and North Africa. He was born in Melbourne, Australia of Lebanese parents. Drawing on his cultural heritage and European training, Greg has forged a unique style of cooking that combines Middle Eastern tradition with contemporary flair. Greg’s interpretation of Middle Eastern food was finally rewarded towards the end of 2012 with a Michelin star.
His unique Middle Eastern cuisine focusing on beautiful and regional produce, including wine from the Levant. He is the co-author on 7 multi-award-winning cookbooks which have been widely acclaimed and praised for showcasing the traditional ingredients and dishes of the region while also offering a window on Greg’s unique modern Middle Eastern cuisine.
Greg’s recipes are full of exciting flavors, aromas and colors… His passion for the aromas, flavors and textures of his Lebanese heritage, combined with his extensive travelling have led him to forge a unique modern Middle Eastern cuisine.
