Hotel De L'Europe Amsterdam announced Robert-Jan Woltering as the new Managing Director of the five-star luxury hotel. He succeeds Edward Leenders, a passionate and experienced hotelier with a heart for hospitality and creativity. Over the past three years, De L'Europe Amsterdam has been transformed under the leadership of Edward Leenders into a lifestyle brand with 15 concepts, from new restaurant formulas to the introduction of 't Huys, where local and international guests meet. Robert-Jan Woltering, together with the team, will implement the plans and concepts that have already been introduced. With his predilection for the hotel industry and his warm personality, Woltering De L'Europe will lead a new adventure.

Woltering has more than 30 years of impressive experience in international Luxury Brands. In his last position as Regional Vice President of Mexico and Central America at Accor Luxury Brands, he was primarily responsible for coaching the CEOs of Sofitel Mexico City Reforma, Sofitel LEGEND Casco Viejo Panama City and Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba, among others. He has also flawlessly coordinated pre-opening plans for Fairmont La Paz and Peurta Cortés Resort and Residences. To top it off, he was named Best Hospitality Leader in Mexico at the unveiling of the International General Manager Awards in 2021. A well-deserved recognition for his results-oriented work.
