When it comes to travelling with children in Barcelona this summer, Hotel Arts Barcelona has it covered with the launch of its tailor-made Luxury Family Packages, to complement an exciting programme of activities that will entertain the whole family in Barcelona.

Each Luxury Family Package is tailor-made and includes accommodation for the whole family in one of the luxury hotel’s superb two or three bedroom duplex apartments. Located on the top ten floors of the hotel, the apartments offer guests generous space and wrap-around windows that look out onto some of the most dramatic views of sea and city.

Each luxury apartment comes with private butler, use of a four-seater MINI Cooper to explore the city and surrounding area, Bugaboo pushchair, in-room apple macbook, and some of them include a telescope to take in the impressive views of the city. There is also a spacious living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, as well as the incredible services and facilities of the hotel.

The Barcelona family hotel is ideally located close to all the cultural action of the city center but is also positioned directly on the famous Barcelona beach.

The Concierge at Hotel Arts is also on hand to suggest exciting family friendly tailor-made trips and activities in the city. Children interested in science and nature, the Cosmo Caixa museum is perfect as it features a mini Amazon rain forest, planetarium and offers interactive activities. The Barcelona Aquarium is a family favourite, but chocolate lovers can also visit the Museu de la Xocolata. The Museu Europe d’Art Modern runs artistic workshops for children every other Sunday. The sessions, for ages 5 to 12 years, offer a fun way for children to learn different artistic techniques. And why not take part in a cookery class at Cook and Taste for the whole family?

There are also lots of things you can do for free in Barcelona with children, stroll through one of many lovely parks including the Ciutadella - one of many lovely parks or just wander around the city feeding the ‘little ones’ imagination by taking in iconic architectural sights such as Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia or Frank Gehry’s Fish Sculpture located at the base of Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Children between the ages of 4 and 12 can also take part in the hotel’s kids programme, an engaging and immersive experience that builds upon the adventures of travel through a series of activities. Upon arrival children are made to feel at home with their own personalized check-in colouring-in books, followed by an exciting giant treasure hunt throughout the hotel and its gardens, to find a special prize.

Families can then relax by the hotel’s large outdoor heated swimming pool and enjoy an afternoon treat from the poolside ice-cream cart. To keep children and parents entertained the hotel will set-up an outdoor cinema showing classic family friendly films during the warm summer nights. The hotel can assist in securing babysitting facilities so that parents can also relax and enjoy a Natura Bissé spa treatment at the new 43 The Spa.

A choice of dining locations is available to all, from the two Michelin Starred Enoteca, headed up by Paco Perez, Arola, alfresco poolside dining at Marina and Bites all with children’s menus. Alternatively Hotel Arts can organize for a picnic on the beach for lunch.

The Club
The Club is a hotel within a hotel – a secluded area high in the upper floors of the building offering a more exclusive, personalized experience. Among a wealth of special amenities, guests enjoy private access to the Club floors, a separate reception and use of their own Smart car to discover the city.
