Lewis Hamilton has signed a new contract with Mercedes. For the two-year deal until 2020, Hamilton will earn almost AED 200.000.000,- a year.
Not only will Hamilton be climbing further up the Forbes rich list and the highest-paid driver in his sport, it also means he'll be pocketing a higher yearly wage than Cristiano Ronaldo - which is pretty insane considering his recently revealed Juventus wage.

Life Beyond Sport made a breakdown of his yearly earnings:

AED22,185 a hour
AED525,773 a day
AED16,078,701 a month
AED192,924,199 a year

That's AED48m a year MORE than Ronaldo will earn at Juventus!

Commenting on his new deal, Hamilton said:

"It's good to put pen to paper, announce it and then get on with business as usual. I have been part of the Mercedes racing family for 20 years and I have never been happier inside a team than I am right now.

"We are on the same wavelength both on and off track - and I am looking forward to winning more in the future and shining even more light on the three-pointed star. I'm very confident that Mercedes is the right place to be over the coming years."
